Visitor Center
The visitor center in Sesalac will be a multifunctional space, a place for education, promotion, and support for nature conservation. The plan also includes arranging a marketplace within the center, where local producers can offer authentic products, while tourists will have the opportunity to acquire souvenirs and informational materials.
Representing 3 villages
The visitor center will present the offerings of three villages within the Sokobanja municipality: Milušinac, Bogdinac, and Sesalac. The visitor center for the natural and cultural values of this part of the Sokobanja municipality, and the offer based on preserved nature and active rest, will be equipped to adequately present and interpret the heritage of the region and its natural resources. This is intended to allow visitors to Sokobanja, in addition to basic information, to gain a specific experience of the attractions themselves, using modern multimedia equipment and having the opportunity to purchase products and souvenirs originating from the villages mentioned above.
Multimedia exhibit
A modern multimedia exhibit will be established in the visitor center, which will present a narrative about specific natural values using a classic museum exhibition combined with the use of contemporary technology (scenography, multimedia, etc.) and additional educational and service content.
How to get to Sesalac Cave
Sesalac Cave is 17 km from Sokobanja, 46 km from Aleksinac, 80 km from Niš, and 245 km from Belgrade. The easiest way to reach the site is from the regional road Sokobanja–Knjaževac, turning north near Čitluk toward the villages of Sesalac and Milušinac, then at the intersection turning left through the village of Sesalac.
